INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare the Campfire (If using): Build a campfire and allow the fire to burn until it has accumulated a bed of coals. Rake the coals into a flat bed on one side of the fire
Prepare the Bananas: Leave the peel on the banana. Slice the banana lengthwise down the center (not all the way through, just to create a pocket).
Stuff the Banana: Gently open the slit and fill the pocket with chocolate chips and mini marshmallows and crumbled graham crackers or your selected fillings.
Wrap the Banana: Wrap the stuffed banana in aluminum foil, sealing it tightly to keep everything inside.
Cook the Banana Boats: Place the foil-wrapped bananas on the campfire coals or grill for about 5-10 minutes, or until the chocolate and marshmallows have melted. Alternatively, you can cook them over low heat on a camp stove, on a grill, or in an oven preheated to 300°F (150°C).
Enjoy: Once they're done, carefully unwrap the foil and enjoy your gooey, chocolatey, and marshmallow-filled treat!
